The National Society of Black Engineers
Birmingham Alumni Extension is dedicated to the academic and
professional success of African American engineering and
technical students and professionals. Toward that end we host an annual scholarship banquet through which we award multiple scholarships
to deserving high school students in the Birmingham Metropolitan area who plan to enter the field of engineering. This year's banquet will be held at the McWane Science Center in downtown Birmingham
on Saturday, May 15th, 2010. Links to both the scholarship announcement letter and the application are listed below. All interested parties
should download both forms. The application deadline is March 31st, 2010.
